The SHAP Web Site provides information relating to a research project called 'Southampton Hand Assessment Procedure (SHAP)' undertaken at the University of Southampton (also see "Who We Are"). The Web Site incorporates both research and product information about the SHAP technology with the aim of publicising the research outputs and, for individuals and organisations, wishing to use the SHAP technology, providing product and pricing information (see in more detail in "Section 2 = Product and Pricing Information"). For the avoidance of doubt, this Web Site offers no other services.
Who We Are
SHAP is not a separate legal entity, but is the result of a research project at the University of Southampton (a not-for-profit public corporation within the United Kingdom). If you hire or purchase SHAP technology, your contractual arrangements shall be with the University of Southampton.
Our Responsibility
We, the University of Southampton, hold certain SHAP research results and information and make these accessible from this Web Site. We maintain and provide that data in accordance with both the applicable legislation and such guidelines agreed for the research programme.
If you provide personal or organisation information to us, in particular for the purpose of obtaining a quote or hiring or purchasing, then we will hold that information privately and not disclose such individual information to any other person or organisation. The University of Southampton is subject to the UK's Freedom of Information Act (2000) and may, upon such valid request, provide aggregated data relating to this Web Site.

Product and Pricing Information
Your Responsibility
Our Pricing Information that we quote to you depends upon category of customer type, including academic institution, National Health Service (NHS) trust, etc.. It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct information about you.
Quote Guarantee
Organisations occasionally change their prices. When you receive a quote from us, it will either tell you how long the quote is valid for or, in absence of a specific period, it shall be valid for a period of two months from receipt.
